LAS LEYES DEL MOVIMIENTO

At his father's funeral, a physics professor's grief gives way to an unnerving obsession: correcting papers on Newton's laws. This academic retreat allows him to ignore both his loss and pressing family issues, until his unusual behavior triggers a tragic incident with a funeral home employee. The confrontation forces him to reckon with his own 'laws.' Throughout, the film uses Newton's three laws of motion as powerful, underlying metaphors for the professor's emotional landscape. My role in this project was Director of Photography (DOP).
